MONDAY

8 February 

Day 1: Arrival in Quito

  • Arrive in Ecuador’s capital city, where your adventure begins.
    Upon arrival, our team will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel to rest and settle in.

  • In the evening, enjoy a welcome briefing and your first Glatt Kosher dinner together as a group.

TUESDAY

9 February

Day 2: Discovering Quito & the Equator

  • Begin discovering Ecuador’s dramatic Andean landscapes with a ride on Quito’s famous TelefériQo cable car, offering panoramic views above the city.

  • Continue to the Intiñan Museum and the iconic “Middle of the World” monument, where the Northern and Southern Hemispheres meet.

  • Later, wander through Quito’s beautifully preserved colonial center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with churches, plazas, and historic architecture.

WEDNESDAY

10 February

Day 3 – Otavalo & Indigenous Traditions

  • Travel north into Ecuador’s Andean highlands toward Otavalo, home to one of the most famous indigenous markets in South America.

  • Along the way, visit San Pablo Lake and the Quitsato Solar Clock before exploring colorful textile markets, artisan stalls, and local traditions preserved for generations.

  • Later, visit the beautiful Peguche Waterfall and spend time with a family of traditional weavers.

  • In the evening, take part in a meaningful Temazcal wellness experience, inspired by traditional indigenous healing practices of the Andes.

11 February

Day 4 – Lakes, Artisans & Andean Culture
A deeper encounter with Ecuador’s rich artisan heritage and living Andean culture.

  • Travel through picturesque mountain towns known for generations of craftsmanship and handmade artistry. Visit traditional Toquilla straw hat workshops, explore Cotacachi’s famous leather market, and discover the artistic traditions of San Antonio de Ibarra, a town celebrated for its fine wood carving and artisan workshops.

  • Later, enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Cuicocha Lake, a volcanic crater lake surrounded by dramatic Andean landscapes.

12 February

Day 5 -  Into the Mindo Cloud Forest
One of Ecuador’s most beautiful ecological regions.

  • Spend the day surrounded by waterfalls, tropical vegetation, and mountain scenery, with opportunities for gentle hiking and optional adventures like ziplining or ATV rides.

  • The slower rhythm of Mindo offers a completely different side of Ecuador: peaceful, green, and full of life.

13 February

Day 6 – Shabbat in Nature

  • Experience a peaceful Shabbat in the heart of Ecuador’s cloud forest.

  • Mindo’s relaxed atmosphere and extraordinary biodiversity create the perfect setting to disconnect from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with nature, community, and rest.

  • In the evening, visit a butterfly sanctuary, enjoy a chocolate experience, and take part in a guided night walk through the forest.

Day 7 – Papallacta Hot Springs

Day 8 – Arrival to the Galápagos Islands

  • Fly to the legendary Galápagos Islands, one of the world’s most extraordinary natural environments.

  • Upon arrival, begin exploring Santa Cruz Island with visits to the Twin Craters, giant tortoise reserves, and ancient lava tunnels shaped by volcanic activity over thousands of years.

16 February

Day 9 – North Seymour Island

Day 10 – South Plazas Island

Day 11 - Bartolomé Island Adventure

Visit one of the most iconic islands in the Galápagos archipelago.

  • Bartolomé Island is famous for its volcanic formations, lava fields, and breathtaking panoramic views that feel almost otherworldly.

  • Later, snorkel near Sullivan Bay before returning to the hotel.

19 February

Day 12 - Return to Mainland Ecuador

  • Fly back to mainland Ecuador and continue to Guayaquil.

  • Spend Shabbat together with the Jewish community of Guayaquil.

Day 14 - Departure

  • Conclude the journey with a meaningful social contribution experience in Guayaquil before transferring to the airport for your international departure.
